  1. I see forsythia budding out, tulips emerging from the soil, and a few other little “greenies.” Hooray! We have robins all over the place in South Carolina – they seem to descend in flocks. Unusual.

  2. for Phyllis: Still pretty chilly, but intimations of spring abound. Seattle has another harbinger of spring: the first cruise ships arrive on May 15 bound for Alaska.

  3. We’ve had a lot of wind, cold, but little snow thankfully. It’s in the low 20s right now. Look forward to seeing the flowers which will likely come first to Seattle.
