Sally and I went to the hotel bar on Sunday evening to watch the Super Bowl, or at least the beginning of it. I had a gin and tonic and Sally a Coke Zero, but the lovely young bartender was busy mixing foofy sweet tropical drinks. I enjoy seeing them made, but rarely indulge.
The drink on the right wrapped in a banana leaf with the chunk of pineapple and sprig of mint is a specialty of the house and has dark rum, dark cane juice, and pineapple juice, plus a couple of other things I didn’t recognize. Gotta have your sweet tooth going on to ask for it. 🙂
