Panama 2019 Day 14: Hand-me Downs

When Lily and Gloria came to Seattle in 2013, my lovely daughter-in-law Amy sent them home with a huge suitcase of Archie’s outgrown clothes. Else had just been born.

Nothing goes to waste in the village. These swim trunks and swim shirt were once worn by my grandson Archie. They cycled through Gabrielito, his sister Alia, and how they are part of Axelito’s wardrobe.

They still look to have a lot of wear in them, and I have no doubt that when Axel outgrows the outfit, it will be passed along to someone else in Gloria’s large extended family.
