Panama 2019 Day 12: Don’t Walk Under a Coconut Palm

I’m keeping up with my daily goal of 10,000 steps with an early morning walk before breakfast, and before it’s too hot. Gloria has been coming with me. I think if she had someone she could walk with in the village every day, she would. Motivation is hard for her on her own.

Yesterday I cut it a little close walking under a coconut palm, and a big coco thudded to the ground right in front of me. Glad it didn’t hit me in the head. I teased Gloria that Panama is a dangerous place, with snakes to the left and lagartos to the right and coconuts falling from on high. She knew I was joking, and laughed along with me.

We got her the workout gear last November, in our shopping trip to the mall.
