Aftermath of our War in Iraq

Read this and weep; Iraq is a full-on mess. And Iraq is one of the better-off Middle Eastern countries. How would you like to be in Afghanistan, or Yemen, or Syria, or Libya at the moment?

Despite our military prowess and bravado about the ease of prevailing, we don’t actually do these Middle Eastern wars very well. We didn’t shine in VietNam either, and Korea ended in a kind of stalemate, with a divided country and no declaration of peace.

We’re still living off the laurels of our Great War. Seems as if it’s all been downhill from there.
