  1. Thanks to Lily for recording and to you for posting all the videos of Minga’s service and being laid to rest. Her coffin and flowers were beautiful, and how good to see family and community traditions being carried out. It was a fitting tribute to a loving mother and a wonderful way to say goodbye.

  2. for Phyllis: I thought so too, and was so glad Lily shared all of this with us. I was slightly alarmed to see them carrying her coffin down the left lane — the fast lane — of the Pan American highway with cars and trucks whizzing by on the right, but I’ve seen it before.
