Panama November 2018: Dancing with Raul

Our night at Las Tinajas ended with Raul, Ana’s marido, asking me to dance with him. The professional dancers who are featured in the dinner show had left the stage, but the musicians played on, glad to see us enjoying their song.  I think if Minga could have moved faster, she’d have been up there dancing too.

  1. for Katie; As quiet and reserved as Ana is, Raul is her polar opposite. He was right up there, and very much wanted me to dance with him.

  2. for Ada: We were up there at the end of the program, and I’m not sure the dancers expected us to be there. But Raul was insistent, and I was happy enough to respond. 🙂
