Shopping for Christmas Things

Amy, Archie, Else and I took advantage of everyone being home from school on Veteran’s Day to replenish my supply of Christmas ornaments, lights, and decorations. I passed on a lot of that stuff to Sara and Matt when I moved to much smaller space here in Seattle, but this year I’m wanting to set up a tree and decorate again.

Had intended to take pics but totally forgot, so you’ll have to use your imagination. Else got a Santa hat, which she wanted to wear home and did. Both kids got a small nutcracker, again to take home, and picked larger ones for me. They liked colored lights instead of all white ones. Archie picked red glass ball ornaments, and Else picked gold. I got a new tree stand, some wrapping paper and ribbon. We forgot to look for an ornament for the top, and for hooks to attach to the ornaments. I think I can get those locally, in Queen Anne.

I’ll get my tree the first weekend in December, and the kids will help me decorate. I’m into holiday cheer!
