Kavanaugh as Payback: The Case for Term Limits

I’ve not been an automatic fan of term limits, thinking it would deprive Congress of some really good legislators. But apparently Charles Grassley, who is leading the Senate hearings for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, thinks ramming Kavanaugh through on a party line vote is payback for the denial of Robert Bork in 1987.

Good God. We have old bulls still acting out their grievances decades later.

That’s enough for me. We have a completely dysfunctional Congress, and I say we need need major, major turnover. What we have now is beyond ridiculous and completely indefensible.
