My Seattle flight leaves in the afternoon, and there is a marathon here today which might make getting a Lyft a bit more difficult — too many people seeking cars. There’s also a big graduation — could be any one of a number of higher education institutions –and tomorrow is Mother’s Day.
I’ll get to the airport, and with the three hour time difference, arrive in Seattle with part of the day left. I actually prefer, when a vacation is done, to depart early in the morning. But that’s not how coast to coast flights work. Flights to the east coast depart Seattle at the crack of dawn, and return flights go mostly in the afternoon.
Our tour ended with breakfast today. I’ve already done a lot of museum visiting, and what I haven’t done enough is walk city streets to look and absorb the culture. That’s how I plan to spend my remaining hours here.
Great city. Highly recommend a visit.
