Early in his career Trump apparently lied to the journalists working on the Forbes 400 list to secure a higher place in the rankings than he deserved. I suspect he feels no shame about this coming to light, any more than he feels shame about the multitude of women accusing him of sexual improprieties. I suspect all of it makes him feel studly, and like a winner who can con people and get away with it for years on end.
Narcissists are by nature vacuous people, with no real inner core, or moral center, or capacity to feel shame about their own deception.
CNN had a brief bit showcasing Trump supporters who self-identify as “proud”. I wonder what exactly they are proud of?
