The Move: Kids’ Bedroom

I don’t know yet if the kids are ready for a sleepover — one at a time, of course. Four and six might be a little  young. In the worst case I could always take them home in the middle of the night, but with Bob ready to bark at what might sound like a middle-of-the-night intruders, the whole household would be awakened. Bob is getting older, but he retains his formidable bark and his protective instincts.

In any case, it’s a playroom. They have lots more toys at home, but there’s a sense of novelty about this space that has them quite intrigued.

This is one of the big plusses for my move: walking distance for grandkids.

  1. What a cool space, it will soon be cluttered I’m sure with toys and extras! I bet they love having you so close.

  2. for J: The Lego table is working out great. Expecting Archie for his first sleepover Friday night. Will let you know how it goes. I know your kids have stayed over with your mom. Fun.
