Wine Tasting: White v. Red

You used to be able to taste wine for free, but now most wineries charge — here, and in Napa, and in the Finger Lakes.  In Woodinville, for $15 you get four or five tastes, a mix of reds and whites. We all wanted to be careful of how much we were drinking, so that we could visit a few more places. I’m a red drinker, and Ben and Sara both prefer white. That made it easy to share a tasting — I got the reds, and they got the whites.  Jerry and Midge like both. We usually got three tastings, and all wound up satisfied at the spectrum of what we got to share.
