Lily tells me that Minga received her dialysis well on Thursday night. She is tolerating this 10pm process, which takes four hours minimum, quite well. I’m amazed.
There is no further progress in agreeing on a longer term plan. I’m very sure it’s not for lack of trying. I think the options are simply too hard and too limited.
Lily knows Mary and Emily — mother of the bride and bride — very well, and I’m sending her pics of the wedding as events unfold. There is a real and profound connection between the Panama family and those from here who have visited. What is held in common about family transcends the differences of geography and custom and class and experience.
