Getting to Know Seattle: Turn to Fall

We had a hot and hazy and smoky August, and with the advent of Labor Day the weather has turned cool and fall-ish, seemingly overnight.  All of these downed leaves are, in part, a sign of stressed trees that have not seen a drop of rain for over two months. But they are also a sign of fall, and the coming shift in weather.
