The air inversion is supposed to shift this weekend and clear the smoke out of greater Seattle, but for now it’s still here — along with 95 degree heat. I almost always exercise in the early morning, but last night after a very busy day I went out after dinner for my brisk 10,000 steps, and caught the sunset through the particles of smoke and ash. Not so great to breathe, but very beautiful.
There’s a regatta every Thursday evening, and that’s what you see here.
All the Seattle-ites who don’t have air conditioning were down by the water, trying to stay cool. Fun people watching.
