Ivanka in the New York Times

Good thing I read this New York Times article first, then the David Rothkopf piece — if it had been the other way around, I’d be tearing my hair out again at the First Grifters who occupy the White House.

Even diehard Trump supporters have to be taken aback by Ivanka’s breathtakingly inflated sense of her own importance. She plans to review her father’s executive orders before they go out, even though, as she admits, “I’m still at the early stages of learning how everything works,” she said, “but I know enough now to be a much more proactive voice inside the White House.

Lord, will someone tell the Trumps that having no idea what you’re doing and no background or experience for the job is not something to tout when you occupy the most powerful office in the world?

Sleep tight, American voters. Ivanka Trump is on the case.
