Food in Myrtle Beach, the Low Country and Middle Georgia

Friend and regular reader Katie has asked about the food on our trip, and I’ll begin talking about that tomorrow with pieces on Suck, Bang and Blow in north Myrtle Beach, the very upscale  Aubri Lane’s, and the mysterious faux fried eggs, both in Milledgeville.  The short take is that the food is distinctive and good, from she-crab soup to friend green tomatoes to blackened local grilled fish, homemade ice cream, biscuits and gravy, and real Georgia barbecue. I did nothing but eat for the whole week.

Don’t miss tomorrow — the title Suck Bang and Blow is not what you think. 🙂
