The Family NCAA Bracket Competition Continues

Well, my beginners luck in week two of the NCAA men’s bracket competition continues. I’m on top of the family challenge with 49 correct picks, and even though my choice to go all the way — Villanova — got knocked out early, I still have hope for Gonzaga and Kentucky.

I watched some of the women’s games over the weekend, and on Monday night Matt, Archie and I went to see the UW women play here in Seattle.

A lot of things have changed since I was in college, and athletics is one of them. I’m dazzled by the level of play in college basketball, and now there are career paths for the outstanding players in both men’s and women’s professional competition. It’s all good.
