President and Mrs. Obama very graciously said they hope Trump succeeds, because then all of us win. Since Trump shows no interest in being the president of all of us in the United States, I don’t share that magnanimous wish. I hope Trump completely self-destructs, and the sooner the better. Not that I think Pence will be much better…
With all the chaos Trump and Bannon have inflicted on the world so far, I’m quietly pleased to read articles like this one in the New York Times:
“Cloistered in the White House, he now has little access to his fans and supporters — an important source of feedback and validation — and feels increasingly pinched by the pressures of the job and the constant presence of protests, one of the reasons he was forced to scrap a planned trip to Milwaukee last week. For a sense of what is happening outside, he watches cable, both at night and during the day — too much in the eyes of some aides — often offering a bitter play-by-play of critics like CNN’s Don Lemon.”
You’ll be pleased to know that Trump, who can’t find his way to reading a policy memorandum or actually knowing what’s in executive orders before he signs them, has worked his way through 17 window covering options.
He has one picture in the Oval Office: his father, Fred Trump.
Incompetent. Incoherent. Inconceivable. Tell me angry white America is still on board with this?
