Following the March: Consider this!

A high school classmate and former Peace Corps volunteer sent this — I thought it was a great idea, and share it with you. I’ve already mailed a letter, and ask that you consider doing do too.

A former President of Wellesley College recently emailed former colleagues the following idea:
Listen up! The Republicans need to get the message from the majority of Americans that we value and need the benefits of Obamacare.  Here’s how we do that. On January 23, everyone who feels that way (our numbers are legion) sends a note to Donald Trump with a simple message:
Don’t make America sick again. Improve Obamacare. Don’t repeal it.
Put this simple message in an envelope, put a stamp on it, and mail it. One envelope for every ACA supporter in your household, even those under 18 years old.
Mail this to–
President Donald Trump
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500
Can you picture 53 million letters arriving at the White House by January 26?  It will be a mountain.  And please, share this email with  your friends!  Thank you!

  1. Great idea. We are out of country and a letter would not get there in time. I am going to e-mail on the 26th.with the same message, They’ll get the point!………………..Maybe!

  2. for Ada: I think in the end a real threat to red state Congress members will matter most, but at this early point, letters and email messages to Trump are at least something. Honestly, he gets scarier by the day.
