Supper with Sara

Still on my kick to do one positive thing a day, to offset my morose feelings about Trump. Last night I caught Sara via text just as she was leaving work, and invited her to meet up for VietNamese dinner. She accepted. Spontaneous things like this are one of the best parts of living near my kids.

  1. Oh the joys of being near kids.

Here is a thought for treating yourself. Go see Hamilton. Michelle Obama called it the most beautiful piece of art..in any form…she had ever seen ( PBS interview). I saw it yesterday in Chicago. Incredible.

  2. for Joyce: A friend and I saw Hamilton in New York on a trip there the summer before last. I agree — it’s a joyful, magnificent celebration of who the country actually is.
