End of Daylight Savings Time

I think I’ve written these same words every year when we set the clocks back an hour since I came to Seattle, but I’m moved to write them again. One of the great things about the Pacific Northwest is how late it stays light during the summer months — often 9:30pm. I love that. The corollary is that in the winter months, and with the time change, it begins to get dark around 4:30pm. When that happens, by 8pm  feel as if it’s time to go to bed. 🙂

Starting my hibernation season.
